Laughing Coyote Woodworks is a small woodworking business that makes its home in the Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts. The 2-person business began in 1991, and focuses on making handcrafted wooden furniture, clocks, and accessories of their own design with a nod of recognition to the Mission, Shaker and Arts and Crafts styles of furnituremaking.
Laughing Coyote's furnituremaking is done by Roy Gibson, who learned his craft from his father, Klein, who shared his lifelong love of wood and handcrafted furniture and accessories with his son. The other half of Laughing Coyote is Patti Exster. She runs the website, manages the books, takes care of correspondence, and helps out with production.
